Samuel - 10 months

Here are a few shots from Samuel’s 10 month photo session. Love photographing these kiddos!

Samuel - 3 months

It seems like I just wrapped up Samuel’s newborn photoshoot, and next thing I know he is 3 months old! They wanted some Christmasy, wintery looking photos, so OBVIOUSLY we thought we would hit a tree farm! So we show up and it is really just some questionable looking individuals handing out saws to people and sending them out into the woods, hopefully to stumble upon something Christmas Tree-like along the way. So there was not a Christmas tree in sight at this “tree farm” (unless you wanted one that was 50 feet tall), but we made due. I think the pictures turned out swell anyway. ;)

baby stella

Welcome to the world, baby Stella!  I had such fun photographing this little one. She was WIDE awake for most of it, but we finally got her to sleep for a few shots. So sweet!

I believe this is the fourth photo session I have done with this awesome family, and it is always so fun to go back and see how everyone has changed over the years! I always have such a great time at our sessions, with five kids there is never a dull moment! Such a beautiful location we visited this time, I could have taken a million pictures! But here are just a few. ;)

baby samuel

Welcome to the world, baby Samuel!

Al is one!

It seems like just yesterday I was a thousand months pregnant, taking 3 month photos of this little one. But here she is, already one! I seriously could not get over those eyelashes and sweet baby curls. Just the cutest!

first communion.

Well, the day of this shoot was supposed to be a beautiful, sunny, 65 degree day…Which actually ended up being a freezing cold, pouring rain, 40 degree day. After that, the first church being occupied, and no lights at the second church, we got to shooting! The sun finally came out and made due with the dark church and ended up having a really great day. This type of shoot was a first for me, and I really enjoyed it. We went back to their house for a few more casual pictures, and you that mural on the wall at the bottom? I painted that on his wall when he was just a tiny little guy. :)

four months.

Well, sweet Liv is now almost four and a half months old. She is such a little piggy and has been eating cereal for about a month now. I think we are finslly over the stage of endless crying that lasted for what seems like an eternity, and she is starting to laugh and smile so much more now. She loves patty cake, and her play gym with the toys dangling down. She is really starting to reach for things and grab toys, and we are reaching that point where everything is going in the mouth. She has a blinking rattle and a stuffed chicken that she adores. We can’t put her down on the floor for long without her rolling all over the room. She has really just been so sweet and such a joy lately, It’s so much fun watching her little personality develop!

one, two, three.

The first time i photographed this family was at the beginning of 2010, and there were only two kiddos and that handsome litte guy was only a few months old. This was our third photo session together, and the littlest just turned one! Its been so awesome watching them grow and seeing their family change along the way!

I had such a great time photographing this family. Little man was SO serious most of the time, but we were able to sneak a few grins out of him! The fall weather was perfect and the colors were so lovely, totally in love with the way these came out.

My love of the arts has been evolving since I was two years old when my grandmother taught me how to draw a simple little face. What began as crayons and finger paint eventually grew into pencils, charcoal, oil paints and Photoshop. I've always known I was going to be an artist. There was never anything else I wanted to do. I am very passionate about my work, and totally, completely, wholeheartedly in love with what I do. Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed creating it!
